The warm atmosphere has a way of stimulating conversation, and six nights a week, the vivid walls resounds with lively chatter and laughter, enhanced by friendly, charming service.
The Thai Frenzy is set in the heart of the quaint little township of Buderim, on Queensland, Australia’s most alluring holiday destination, the Sunshine Coast, which boasts vast stretches of pristine, open surf beaches, drawing visitors from around the world.
This little restaurant with its big reputation is Gareth’s personal success story. A man who once had plain tastes in food, he was introduced to the delights of Thai cuisine by master chef, Sao who helped him launch his first Thai restaurant in Coolum in 1996, which rapidly became popular with holidaying celebrities.
An astute business manager for more than 20 years, Gareth is justifiably chuffed by the success of Thai Frenzy, which opened in November 2001. He takes great pride in welcoming seasoned Thai food connoisseurs as well as newcomers to his exciting world of delicacies.
Perhaps one of the secret ingredients at Thai Frenzy is a generous scoop of Happiness. Gareth’s motto is: “Thai Frenzy chefs are the happiest Thai chefs on planet earth!” |
